Joe Palumbo
Joe has spent his entire 20-year professional career working with, and catering to, the distinct needs of professional athletes and those in the sports business. He has a unique, exceptional background which includes his prior experience in professional sports as a contract advisor, attorney (non-practicing) and focusing on professional athletes and sports professionals in the financial services industry. He has helped NFL All Pros, Super Bowl Champions, and many other athletes and their families through the years.
Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in politics from Ithaca College where he also played for the NCAA Division III Football National Championship team in 1991 and was awarded the NCAA Division III Football All American in 1993. Joe earned his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2002, and followed that with his securities and insurance licenses as well.
Kristin's Fund-Community Involvement
Joe has always been active in his community. He has enjoyed coaching youth baseball, basketball, and Jiu Jitsu. After Kristin's death, Joe began to research and study domestic violence and abuse. He also completed training to be a volunteer at DV long term safe house in Florence, SC where he mentored women on financial independence and how it can help them avoid or escape abusive relationships. In Co-Founding Kristin's Fund, Joe focuses primarily on the mens' aspects of the issue, leading, speaking, and pushing for the education of young men on healthy and respectful relationships with women.
